Tater Tot Hamburger Green Bean Casserole

A comforting casserole featuring savory beef, creamy mushroom soup, tender green beans, and crispy Tater Tots, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess fat and return the beef to a mixing bowl.
  4. Combine the cooked beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Arrange the Tater Tots evenly over the cheese layer.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the Tater Tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Assemble and refrigerate the casserole covered for up to 24 hours before baking. Can be frozen unbaked for longer storage.
