One-Pot Spicy Garlic Butter Chicken Tortellini

Warm, garlicky, and simple to make, this one-pot dish is a fast weeknight favorite that tastes like a cozy restaurant meal at home.

  • 2 cups cooked tortellini
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat until it becomes fragrant.
  2. Sauté the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Cook the diced chicken, seasoned with salt and pepper, until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked tortellini and Parmesan cheese until well combined and heated through.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For more heat, increase the crushed red pepper flakes. Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency as needed.
