Warm, flaky, and indulgent, these Honey Pecan Croissants elevate simple pastries into a memorable treat with a glossy blend of honey, brown sugar, butter, and heavy cream, folded through toasted pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large buttery croissants, split lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Slice each croissant lengthwise, careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Toast the chopped pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until fragrant.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  5. Stir in the honey, brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the toasted pecans.
  7. Spoon the mixture into each croissant, being generous but avoiding overfilling.
  8. Place filled croissants on the baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm.
