Garlic Butter Steak With Parmesan Cream Sauce

A comforting and elegant dish featuring seared steak drizzled with a rich and creamy garlic parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 lbs steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling, about 2 minutes.
  3. Carefully place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting as needed.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the minced garlic; sauté for about 1 minute.
  5. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously, and allow to simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Slice the rested steak against the grain, plate, and ladle the parmesan cream sauce over it. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Serve alongside creamy mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
