Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Alfredo Tortellini

Warm, indulgent steak bites paired with creamy Alfredo tortellini. This dish is perfect for busy weeknight dinners or casual weekend entertaining.

  • 1 1/2 lbs steak bites (sirloin, ribeye, or preferred cut)
  • 3 tbsp butter (for steak)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 3 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 30 to 45 seconds, stirring constantly.
  3. Add steak bites to the skillet, spreading them in a single layer if possible.
  4. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring or flipping as needed, until browned.
  5. Remove from heat and set the steak bites aside briefly to rest.
  6. In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions.
  7. Drain thoroughly and set the tortellini aside.
  8. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  9. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
  10. Stir in grated Parmesan until the sauce is smooth.
  11. Combine drained tortellini with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat.
  12. Serve the creamy tortellini alongside the garlic butter steak bites.

Notes

Pat steak bites dry before cooking for better browning. Reheat gently to maintain the texture of the sauce.
