Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and patting them dry.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, mixing well so each piece is coated.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy but not browned.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes without stirring.
  6. Stir the chicken and continue cooking for another 5 to 7 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  8. Check that the internal temperature is 165°F (75°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
  9. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
