Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast

A simple, satisfying weeknight meal featuring tender chicken breasts with a rich garlic butter coating.

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with a light coating of butter or oil.
  2. Melt the butter in a small bowl or microwave-safe cup for about 20 to 30 seconds, then stir until smooth.
  3. Add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to the melted butter, and stir until evenly combined.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring each one is coated.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, aiming for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, spoon pan juices over the chicken when serving. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3-4 days.
