Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

A comforting and easy casserole featuring crispy tater tots, tender chicken, and a creamy, cheesy filling.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (diced or shredded)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 green onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and 2 cups of shredded cheese. Stir until well-blended.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the chicken mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Great for potlucks and family gatherings. Can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
