Chocolate Cherry Pie (No Bake)

This no-bake Chocolate Cherry Pie features a crunchy chocolate cookie crust filled with a creamy whipped cream and cream cheese mixture, topped with sweet cherry pie filling and drizzled with melted chocolate.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Make the crust. In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted unsalted butter and mix until well coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form an even crust.
  2. Beat the cream cheese. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and free of lumps. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until fully blended and creamy.
  3. Fold in whipped cream. Gently fold the whipped cream or whipped topping into the sweetened cream cheese until the mixture is smooth and light.
  4. Assemble the filling. Spread the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture evenly over the prepared chocolate crust, smoothing the top.
  5. Add the cherries. Open the can of cherry pie filling and spoon it over the cream layer, spreading evenly.
  6. Melt and drizzle chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate over the cherry layer.
  7. Chill before serving. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the filling to set.

Notes

Chill thoroughly for cleaner slices. Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
