This Cheesy Pizza Pasta Bake combines the flavors of pizza and pasta into a comforting casserole that is perfect for family meals or potlucks.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cups rotini pasta, cooked al dente
  • 32 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add the ground beef and sausage to a large skillet over medium heat and cook until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked rotini, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and the meat and onion mixture in a large bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella on top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the dish rest after baking for cleaner slices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
