Cheesy Garlic Butter Chicken Bowties

A quick and comforting dish featuring diced chicken and bowtie pasta in a creamy garlic butter sauce with melted mozzarella.

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta, dry
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, salt, and pepper, and toss to combine.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use evenly sized chicken pieces for uniform cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
