Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Pour the batter into a lined 9×13 inch baking dish and smooth it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
