Strawberry Gelatin Pie

A delightful dessert combining strawberries with a silky gelatin base, perfect for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 packet (3 oz) gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 cup water (or fresh fruit juice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the graham crackers, mix with melted butter, and press into a pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
  2. Wash and slice half of the strawberries; set aside for layering.
  3. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat until dissolved. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved; remove from heat.
  4. Puree the remaining strawberries in a blender and mix with the gelatin.
  5. Fold the sliced strawberries into the gelatin mixture and pour into the cooled crust.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  7. Slice the pie, serve chilled, and garnish with whipped cream if desired.
