Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour, salt, and baking powder until just blended.
  6. Fold in the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for about 1 hour.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting onto a platter.
