  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  5. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, creating an indentation in the center of each.
  7. Fill the indentation with the cream cheese mixture and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, use vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
