Garlic Steak Bites and Potatoes

A quick and easy dish featuring tender steak bites and crispy potatoes infused with garlic, perfect for any weeknight dinner or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and marinate with half of the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Rinse and halve the baby potatoes, then cook them cut-side down in a skillet with the remaining olive oil for about 10 minutes until golden-brown and tender.
  3. Push the cooked potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the remaining garlic, frying for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated steak pieces to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir everything together and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Plate the dish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken or tofu for the steak, or use sweet potatoes instead for a twist.
