Garlic Butter Beef & Cheesy Bowtie Pasta

A comforting and family-friendly dish combining tender beef in garlic butter sauce with cheesy bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta (cooked al dente)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain excess fat from the beef. Reduce the heat and add minced garlic, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and stir until melted. Pour in reserved pasta water to create a sauce.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  7. Remove from heat, adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Substitute ground beef with turkey or plant-based crumbles if desired. Adjust seasoning to taste.
