Easy Homemade Spaghetti O’s with Meatballs

A comforting dish of tender meatballs in savory tomato sauce with perfectly al dente pasta shapes, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups pasta shapes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven (if using an air fryer) to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  3. Scoop out about two tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls, placing them on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake meatballs for 15-20 minutes in the air fryer or oven until browned and cooked through.
  5. In a separate pot, boil salted water and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions.
  6. In a pan, heat the tomato sauce over medium heat until bubbling.
  7. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and mix into the sauce, then stir in the meatballs and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Notes

For a kid-friendly version, use fun-shaped pasta and reduce spices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
