Easy Chocolate Peppermint Lasagna

  • 1 package Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 boxes Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • Crushed Peppermint Candies (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs, mix with melted butter, and press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Pudding: Whisk chocolate pudding mix and milk in a bowl until smooth and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix the Cream Cheese Filling: Blend softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until smooth.
  4. Layer the Ingredients: Spread half the pudding over the crust, followed by the cream cheese mixture, and half of the whipped topping. Repeat the layering.
  5. Chill to Set: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Decorate: Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top before serving.
  7. Serve: Slice into squares and enjoy chilled.

Notes

You can customize layers with different types of chocolate or add a splash of espresso for a twist.
