Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

A comforting layered casserole featuring tender pierogi, savory kielbasa, and a rich, creamy sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

  • 24 ounces Frozen Pierogi
  • 14 ounces Kielbasa, sliced
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Spread half of the frozen pierogi in an even layer across the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle half of the sliced kielbasa over the pierogi, followed by half of the diced onion.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the layered pierogi and kielbasa.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top layer.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

For added spice, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or sautéing jalapeños. This casserole makes a complete meal; however, pairing it with a salad or steamed vegetables enhances the experience.
