Crispy Broccoli Cheese Balls

Delicious, bite-sized broccoli cheese balls with a crispy coating, perfect for snacks and entertaining.

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam or microwave broccoli florets until tender, about 3–4 minutes, then chop finely.
  3. In a bowl, mix broccoli, cheese, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of golf balls, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or air fry for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute eggs with flax eggs and use plant-based cheese.
