Chocolate Caramel Dump Cake

A decadent and easy-to-make dessert that combines rich chocolate cake with gooey caramel and creamy layers, perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 package (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag (11 oz) caramel bits or soft caramel candies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, and melted butter. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly to cover the surface.
  4. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the batter.
  5. Sprinkle the caramel bits and chocolate chips across the surface.
  6. Use a knife to swirl the batter gently.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftover cake covered at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for about a week. This cake can be frozen for up to three months.
