Delicious and easy-to-make Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps that combine tender chicken, melted cheese, and fresh veggies wrapped in tortillas.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 large flour or whole wheat tortillas
  • Vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, onions, etc.)
  • Salt, pepper, and dried herbs (e.g., parsley, Italian seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Place in a slow cooker or large skillet.
  2. If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours. For skillet cooking, sauté on medium heat for 7-10 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic to the cooker or skillet 10 minutes before the chicken is done.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir in the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  5. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  6. Lay a tortilla flat, place a generous amount of the cheesy chicken mixture in the center, sprinkle with veggies, and roll tightly.
  7. Optionally, grill the wraps in a heated skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
