Cheesy Broccoli Casserole

A creamy and cheesy casserole that combines fresh broccoli with a bubbly cheese sauce and crunchy topping, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 cups broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using fresh broccoli, steam it for about 3–5 minutes until slightly tender but still bright green. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, 1 ½ cups of cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold in the steamed broccoli, ensuring all florets are coated in the cheesy mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bread crumbs on top.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes

This casserole can also be stored in the fridge for up to three days and reheated in the oven or microwave. Can be prepared ahead of time and baked when ready.
