Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

A delightful combination of caramel, apples, and creamy cheesecake in an easy-to-make bar format, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith recommended)
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well mixed. Press into a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the pre-baked crust and smooth it out.
  6. Mix diced apples with cinnamon (if desired) and spread them over the cheesecake layer. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until set and lightly golden around the edges. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

For a fun twist, try adding spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, or even a chocolate drizzle on top.
