Buffalo Chicken Alfredo Pasta

A comforting and spicy dish that combines pasta with creamy Alfredo and buffalo chicken, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cooked chicken and buffalo sauce, heating through for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, mixing well with the chicken and buffalo sauce, then simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta, adding Parmesan cheese and mixing until evenly coated. Add reserved pasta water gradually to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, garnished with more Parmesan cheese or chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Feel free to use rotisserie chicken for quick prep. For a milder flavor, reduce the buffalo sauce or add cream cheese.
