Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and salt, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
  5. Portion the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly with your palm.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
