Bariatric Surgery Gelatin Trick

A simple and effective method using gelatin to aid in weight loss and promote feelings of fullness.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1 cup water or juice
  • Natural sweeteners (optional, e.g., stevia or honey)
  • Fruit or vegetable purees (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: gelatin powder, water or juice, and any optional sweeteners or purees.
  2. Dissolve the gelatin in a small saucepan by combining 1 cup of liquid with 2 teaspoons of gelatin powder. Stir over low heat until dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add desired sweeteners or purees to the mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before pouring into molds or a dish.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours to set.
  6. Once set, remove from molds or slice into cubes and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Consume 30 minutes before meals to enhance fullness. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
