Banana Split Dump Cake

A quick and delicious dessert that combines the flavors of a banana split with the ease of a dump cake.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz)
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • Maraschino cherries for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Spread the crushed pineapple evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  4. Layer the banana slices over the pineapple, then drizzle the chocolate fudge sauce on top.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the layered toppings without mixing.
  6. Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the dry cake mix.
  7. If using nuts, sprinkle them on top uniformly.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
