Delicious Apple Fritter Bites that are golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with sweet apple goodness.

  • 2 medium Apples, peeled and diced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk to incorporate.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Fold in the diced apples evenly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Transfer fried bites to a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with glaze or dusted with powdered sugar.
